Rising from dense bamboo and tropical foliage, the temple’s stairway emerges as both an invitation and a warning, its ascent guarded by massive carved serpents locked in eternal watch! I’ve loved the Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom ride at Disneyland ever since I first rode it when it opened in 1995. My best friend worked at the park and got us on, it was the most amazing ride they had done up until that time! I’ve tried to capture the mystery, risk, and adventure of the ride in this painting.
