“Elephant Pools Expedition”, is a celebration of Disneyland’s legendary Jungle Cruise. The Jungle Cruise was one of Walt Disney’s favorite rides and for good reason. It captures the spirit of Adventureland like no other ride. I’ve tried to re-create the moment when the boat enters the Elephant Pools, sunlight streaming through the tall bamboo as your boat crosses under the ancient temple ruins around you.
One of the reasons I love this painting is it changes as the sunlight in the room changes. I wish the photos captured this but you really have to experience it in person. I hope you love this painting as much as I do.
