In “Snow White’s Enchanted Grotto” I’ve tried to capture the quiet beauty of the special garden tucked out of the way of the traffic and noise of the rest of the park. A place where first kisses happen, where you can just stop and take in the beauty as you listen to Snow White sing about her Prince.
I chose to paint this special place because it holds special meaning for me, I love the soothing colors I chose, hoping to convey the peaceful feeling you get when you visit. I’ve purposely chosen not to detail the statue’s faces as I did not want it to steal the show from the wishing well, waterfall and garden. I can see this being as much at home in a child’s room as it would be in a family room, bringing back memories of the park as you look at it.
